Naomi Meier, Dr.P.H., M.S.

Dr. Meier is a public health professional with a background in applied medical anthropology.

Dr. Meier works in the Rehabilitation and Health Services Department as a lecturer for the Public Health undergraduate program. She has worked on projects related to health including program development for youth with disabilities transitioning to adulthood, assessment of racial inequality in access to healthy food and recreation, and surface water quality impacts from natural gas production. Her research interests include health policy, environmental health, health equity, disability studies, epilepsy, and neurodiversity.

Dr. Meier teaches public health courses covering topics including environmental health, community health education, biostatistics, leadership and management in public health, and health policy.
