GASA is a student-led organization primarily composed of current and former students
in the Applied Anthropology graduate program. GASA seeks to create a collaborative,
social atmosphere, and support network for all its members.
Meeting Information:
Typical activities for this organization include mini-seminars where fellow members
and occansional faculty lead short skill-building sessions. Other activities include
collaborative conference sessions, off-campus social events, writing seminars, and
                                          department-wide mixers.
Leadership:
GASA officers and members communicate via email, GroupMe, and Facebook at the links
below. Per academic year, there are up to 3 officers that plan and coordinate GASA
sponsored events. Each year, officer responsibilities are passed down to second-year
graduate students. Online and in-person students can become GASA officers.
